Abscess and Nodules in Chinese Medicine

A nodule is a growth that forms under your skin and may be filled with inflamed tissue or a mixture of tissue and fluid. The collection of colored fluid within a nodule can indicate an infection. Nodules are usually harmless, and easily treatable. They can manifest as so many different ways. Even though the majority are harmless, they are still considered abnormal growths and need to be checked by your doctor. In Chinese Medicine we consider nodules to be a combination of blood stagnation and an accumulation of toxic heat in a very localized area.

Chinese herbs can be very helpful in this situation, when looking for a more modern day formula to clear heat and detoxify, reduce swelling, and invigorate the blood look for one containing one or more of the following herbs.
